Head of Marketing

About the role

The Head of Marketing will lead Air India Express’s marketing, brand, digital, social, product, design, innovation, AI roadmap and loyalty programmes across all global markets. This senior position shapes the airline’s positioning as India’s most loved value carrier and drives demand‑side resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve brand positioning, identity and communication guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
• Lead annual and quarterly campaign planning, including large‑scale brand campaigns, regional storytelling and targeted communications.
• Oversee media planning, agency relationships and A&P budget with a focus on ROI and efficiency.
• Track and report brand health metrics and use insights to sharpen positioning and campaign effectiveness.
• Own enterprise demand‑generation agenda, partnering with revenue management, network planning and sales to drive market entry, route launches and network expansion.
• Influence commercial strategy through customer, market and competitive insights.
• Lead digital strategy across website, mobile app and social platforms, ensuring seamless online experience and driving engagement.
• Partner with e‑commerce and growth teams to optimise digital analytics and channel performance.
