Head of Finance & Accounts – Chartered Accountant

About the role

Sawai Jaipur is seeking a seasoned finance leader to provide strategic financial direction across its diverse portfolio of hospitality, heritage, retail, events, technology and lifestyle businesses. The Head of Finance & Accounts will ensure robust financial governance while supporting growth, investment and commercial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management for the entire portfolio.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls, governance and reporting systems.
• Oversee accounting, taxation, audit, statutory compliance, treasury and financial reporting.
• Develop business‑level P&Ls, financial models and dashboards to monitor performance.
• Provide commercial analysis and decision support to senior management.
• Evaluate new investments, projects, partnerships and business opportunities.
• Drive cost optimisation, working‑capital management and procurement frameworks.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, financial institutions, advisors and regulators.
• Lead financial due diligence for new projects and strategic partnerships.
• Strengthen financial systems, ERP and technology‑enabled reporting.
• Build, mentor and lead the finance and accounts team.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8–15+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing complex organisations or multiple business verticals.
• Strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
• High integrity, governance orientation and excellent stakeholder‑management skills.
