Head of Civil & Engineering – Multi-Project Execution

About the role

DGS Group is rapidly expanding its portfolio of residential and commercial projects across Mumbai’s Western corridor. We are looking for a senior leader to head civil and engineering execution for more than 50 concurrent sites, drive technical R&D, and build a high‑performing engineering workforce from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site engineering, structural execution, quality control and safety across 50+ active project sites.
• Recruit, organize, onboard and mentor site engineers, project managers, billing engineers and quality specialists.
• Evaluate and implement advanced construction technologies, including modern shuttering systems (Mivan, Aluform) and high‑performance concrete mixes.
• Lead fast‑track mobilization, infrastructure setup and resource allocation for ten upcoming project launches.
• Coordinate with structural consultants, MEP designers, architects and liaison teams to eliminate execution bottlenecks.
• Enforce strict budget adherence, material reconciliation and progress milestones to optimise cost and timelines.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in civil engineering within large‑scale construction environments.
• Track record of managing 50+ concurrent sites with zero schedule slippage.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop multi‑site engineering teams quickly.
• Strong knowledge of construction R&D, value‑engineering and safety governance.
• Excellent coordination skills with consultants, architects and MEP designers.
