About the role

Vedanta Iron and Steel Limited (VISL) is entering a transformative growth phase and seeks a dynamic Head Investor Relations to lead its communication with the investment community. Based in Goa, you will shape the IR strategy, build relationships with institutional investors and analysts, and support capital market activities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an IR strategy aligned with VISL’s business priorities and growth ambitions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and rating agencies.
• Act as the primary spokesperson for investor communications, ensuring consistency and credibility.
• Lead preparation of quarterly earnings releases, investor decks, and annual reports.
• Provide market trend, peer performance, and investor sentiment insights to senior leadership.
• Partner with Finance and Strategy teams for accurate forecasting and disclosure.
• Advise the Board, CFO, and business unit leaders on investor expectations and market positioning.
• Support capital market transactions, including equity/debt offerings, M&A, and restructuring.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI, stock exchange, and global disclosure standards.
• Drive transparent ESG and sustainability reporting aligned with investor priorities.

Required profile

• MBA, CA, CFA or equivalent qualification with strong financial and strategic acumen.
• 12+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, or Equity Research.
