Head - Finance Shared Services India

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a senior finance leader to head its Finance Shared Services function in India. The role reports to the CFO India and works closely with the global finance team to deliver high‑quality financial processes, governance and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance shared services covering general accounting, audit, fixed assets, accounts payable, expense audit and treasury for Alfa Laval India.
• Drive implementation and user adoption of the Medius tool for Procure‑to‑Pay and ensure compliance with TDS, GST and other regulations.
• Oversee Concur expense governance, enforce travel and expense policies and implement exception reporting.
• Manage treasury functions, cash‑flow forecasting, fund investment and relationships with banks and NBFCs.
• Act as Finance Process Owner for the D365 ERP implementation, harmonise processes to the global template and lead post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Promote process excellence, automation and digitisation, defining KPIs, SLAs and reducing manual interventions.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management and ensure timely closure of audit issues.
• Partner with business finance teams, global stakeholders and external auditors to deliver service‑level agreements.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 15‑20 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, India GAAP, Indian company law and taxation.
• Proven experience in statutory audit, financial reporting and leading shared‑service organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead ERP implementations (preferably D365) and drive process improvement in a matrix environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
