Hardware Design Manager

About the role

As a key member of Flipkart's Supply Chain Digital Hardware Design team, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade web applications and digital solutions that accelerate and improve the accuracy of the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the solution design, development, and deployment of warehouse automation systems for Flipkart.
• Collaborate with OEM partners to design and review electrical and mechanical DAP, PLCs, HMIs, embedded controllers, control architectures, wiring schematics, and logic diagrams.
• Support and review sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols designed for automation projects.
• Work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, IT, Infra and Projects and operations teams to ensure smooth system design, integration and go‑live.
• Support on‑site commissioning and provide technical troubleshooting during installation and commissioning phase.
• Ensure all automation designs comply with industry safety standards and operational performance benchmarks.
