Guest Services Associate

About the role

The Guest Services Associate works full‑time on‑site at IKAYI, a modern Indian restaurant in Lucknow. This role is the first point of contact for guests, handling reservations, seating, and providing clear information about menu items, specials, and promotions. The associate ensures a smooth and welcoming front‑of‑house experience, especially during peak hours.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage the reservation and wait‑list system.
• Coordinate seating plans with serving and bar staff to optimise flow.
• Answer guest inquiries in person and over the phone, providing accurate menu and promotion details.
• Support the resolution of guest concerns, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting front‑of‑house environment.

Required profile

• Strong guest service and customer service abilities, with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
• Experience managing reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Hindi is a plus.
• Previous hospitality, restaurant, or hotel experience is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Polished appearance and courteous demeanor suitable for guest‑facing roles.

Required skills

• Familiarity with reservation management systems.
• Basic computer literacy and experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
