Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping

About the role

As a Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping you will ensure guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas are maintained to Fairmont’s high standards of cleanliness and comfort. You will also deliver courteous service, responding promptly to guest requests and collaborating with the housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms and common areas, following Fairmont’s quality standards.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning to verify compliance with property specifications.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, reporting low stock levels.
• Respond to guest requests, special needs and inquiries with professionalism.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with deep‑cleaning projects, seasonal tasks and other special initiatives.
