Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping

About the role

Join Kuruba Safari Lodge as a Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping and help ensure every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of room cleanliness and guest satisfaction in a dynamic resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms daily according to operational policies, including dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitation.
• Remove soiled linens and replace them with fresh ones as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash and debris from rooms.
• Replenish promotional materials, literature, and room amenities.
• Report maintenance issues and place replacement orders.
• Handle lost‑and‑found items by turning them over to the housekeeping office.
• Maintain supply carts, cleaning kits, and linen closets, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
• Notify the Housekeeping Manager of any shortages or damaged items.
• Report “Do Not Disturb” or bolted‑door rooms to the department at the scheduled time.
• Adhere to resort policies, safety procedures, grooming standards, and punctuality requirements.
