Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping

About the role

The Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping ensures that all guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are clean, hygienic, and safe, delivering a high level of guest satisfaction. Working as part of the housekeeping team, you will support the smooth operation of the department while upholding the hotel’s standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned guest rooms, public areas, and executive offices according to hotel standards.
• Handle departmental master keys and other keys responsibly to ensure guest and property security.
• Inspect and manage room linen, reporting any below‑standard items.
• Replace soiled linens, remake beds, and replenish amenities daily.
• Report malfunctioning equipment and coordinate repairs with the supervisor.
• Manage the housekeeping desk, coordinate communications, and handle guest messages and key issuance.
• Follow lost‑and‑found, “Do Not Disturb,” and safety procedures accurately.
• Ensure corridors, fire exits, and floor pantries meet safety standards.
