Guest Service Associate – Front Office

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Guest Service Associate in our Front Office team, providing seamless check‑in and check‑out experiences for hotel guests in Bengaluru. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and supported throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest arrivals, departures, room assignments, and late‑check‑out requests.
• Secure payments, issue and re‑issue room keys, and verify billing accuracy.
• Communicate room availability to guests and coordinate with housekeeping for status updates.
• Handle telephone switchboard operations, answer guest inquiries, and arrange transportation.
• Run daily reports, manage cash drawers, and process all payment types.
• Maintain security protocols by notifying loss prevention of any incidents.
• Uphold Marriott standards of appearance, confidentiality, and service quality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn hospitality operations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional demeanor and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
• Telephone switchboard operation.
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems for check‑in/out and billing.
