Guest Service Associate – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Guest Service Associate – Food & Beverage will be the first point of contact for guests at the hotel’s dining outlets. Working full‑time on‑site in Sangli, you will welcome visitors, seat them, present menus and ensure a smooth, friendly service throughout their dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their tables, provide menus and answer food‑and‑beverage related queries.
• Take orders accurately, transmit them to the kitchen and bar, and serve food and drinks promptly.
• Maintain table settings, clean and reset tables between guests, and support banquet or special event service.
• Handle reservations and table bookings, coordinate with front‑office and kitchen teams.
• Process billing, operate POS terminals, and manage cash or card transactions.
• Address guest complaints or special requests professionally and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety and hotel standards at all times.

Required profile

• Strong guest‑facing attitude with proven customer‑service experience.
• Previous experience in food‑and‑beverage or hotel service is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including peak service times.
• Formal hospitality education or training is an advantage but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Operation of POS (point‑of‑sale) systems and basic billing procedures.
