Guest Service Associate – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Guest Service Associate works in the restaurant area to deliver exceptional food and beverage service. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and ensure the dining environment meets hotel standards and guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide attentive waiter service in the restaurant or meeting‑room settings.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point‑of‑sale system according to policy.
• Prepare and maintain dining and preparation areas, set tables, and replenish linens and service equipment.
• Manage crockery, glassware, and silverware, ensuring they remain in good condition and are cleaned promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts and retrieve items from the storeroom as needed.
• Clean and polish service items, remove spillage, and tidy the restaurant after service and at closing.
• Transport soiled dishes to the kitchen and follow the standard service sequence outlined in the manual.
