Guest Relations Associate

About the role

The Guest Relations Associate is the first point of contact for guests, providing information, assistance, and a warm welcome throughout their stay. You will ensure guests receive accurate directions, timely responses to requests, and personalized service that reflects Marriott’s commitment to wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guests with directions, property amenity details, service hours, and local area information.
• Coordinate with Bellperson, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments to resolve guest inquiries and issues.
• Follow up with guests to confirm satisfaction with resolved requests or problems.
• Accurately receive, record, and relay messages.
• Handle special requests from guests with unique needs.
• Communicate VIP arrivals to designated personnel for escort and amenity delivery.
• Adhere to company policies, report safety concerns, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Strong communication skills with clear, professional language.
• Ability to develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Willingness to follow quality‑assurance standards and suggest process improvements.
