Guest Laundry Valet – Mumbai

About the role

The Guest Laundry Valet provides premium laundry and valet services to hotel guests while supporting housekeeping operations. Working on‑site at Fairmont Mumbai and Roswyn, you will ensure timely collection, processing and delivery of guest garments, maintain linen flow, and deliver a courteous guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collect guest laundry from rooms, verify items against the laundry list and tag correctly.
• Deliver cleaned, dry‑cleaned, ironed or folded garments within the hotel’s turnaround time, handling express requests efficiently.
• Report damaged items or special care requirements to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Assist housekeeping by moving clean linen to guestrooms, pantries and service areas, and collecting soiled linen and uniforms.
• Stock housekeeping pantries with linen and guest supplies, and help with room set‑up during peak periods.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for laundry, extra linen, amenities or housekeeping services.
• Maintain professional appearance, address guest concerns, and escalate issues when needed.
• Sort garments and linen by fabric type, colour and washing requirements for processing.

Required profile

• Strong orientation toward guest service and satisfaction.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow laundry handling procedures.
• Physical stamina to lift and move linen and garments throughout the shift.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
