GTM Controller – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The GTM Controller will partner with sales, supply chain and finance teams to provide financial insight that drives strategic decisions across the go‑to‑market organization. This role ensures pricing, rebates, incentives and inventory costs are managed effectively while supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct long‑ and short‑term financial analysis to support sales decisions and business strategy.
• Translate business initiatives into detailed business cases in collaboration with sales, customers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with pricing policies, sales rebate structures, incentive plans and expense management.
• Liaise with Accounting, Tax, Credit, Legal, Internal Audit and Global Trade Compliance to deliver accurate financial performance.
• Support sales fulfillment with supply‑chain and product operations, including inventory management and reconciliation.
• Prepare presentations for board, senior leadership and strategic committees.
• Lead monthly closing, forecasting and budgeting processes in partnership with the sales team.
• Produce regular and ad‑hoc performance reports, track gross profit, and identify profit‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a multinational high‑tech or FMCG environment.
• Strong understanding of the Indian smartphone market and related tax/duty regulations.
• Proven experience in sales planning, pricing analysis and business‑case development.
