Growth Manager – Recharges & Utilities (4-6 yrs experience)

About the role

As a Manager on Paytm’s Recharges & Utilities team, you will act as the growth engine, using deep data insights to identify opportunities and execute high‑impact campaigns that acquire and retain millions of users. You will own the full data lifecycle for assigned categories and leverage AI tools such as Claude to accelerate analysis, automation and campaign creation.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, transform and model daily transaction data; write and optimise SQL queries in Hive/BigQuery to monitor business health.
• Automate recurring MIS reports using advanced Excel and internal tools, freeing time for strategic work.
• Support P&L targets by identifying cost‑saving opportunities and driving revenue‑enhancing strategies.
• Design and run growth campaigns for specific user cohorts, monitor funnel performance and improve DAU, GMV and retention metrics.
• Measure campaign ROI, conduct competitive intelligence and use AI copilots to draft and test creative assets.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst or Growth Manager, preferably in e‑commerce, retail or fintech.
• Strong analytical mindset with a background in engineering, mathematics, statistics or economics.
• Proven ability to execute projects end‑to‑end and collaborate with product, tech and marketing teams.

Required skills

• SQL (Hive, BigQuery) and data manipulation.
• Advanced Excel, including VBA/macros.
• Python for data analysis.
• Experience with AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot for coding and analysis.
