Group Head – Content & Events Practice

About the role

Omnicom Media Group is seeking a Group Head to lead its Content & Events Practice in Mumbai. You will oversee a portfolio of key client accounts, delivering integrated content solutions that span strategic event planning, sponsorships, IP development, and influencer marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue and billing targets while supporting P&L adherence for assigned accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic content solutions aligned with client objectives and market trends.
• Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
• Lead the end‑to‑end execution of content strategies, events, sponsorships, IPs, and influencer campaigns, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Mentor and manage team members, overseeing delegation and resource utilization.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure seamless delivery.
• Monitor campaign performance, reporting, financial compliance, and KPI‑driven measurement.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in content strategy, events, influencer marketing, or related roles within media agencies, brands, or publishers.
• Strong understanding of content‑led marketing across platforms and formats.
• Proven ability to manage projects and contribute to revenue growth.
• Excellent client management and stakeholder handling skills.
• Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and strong communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations.
• Familiarity with AI tools for ideation and efficiency.
