Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead the consolidated finance function for Groyyo, based in Mumbai. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure accurate, timely financial statements and provide strategic insights that drive the company’s growth across Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the entire group.
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
• Lead the finance team, coordinate external audits and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor cash flow, manage financial reporting dashboards and deliver analytical insights to senior management.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to optimise financial processes, support expansion initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge in finance and accounting with experience managing group‑level financial operations.
• Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing financial statements for multiple entities.
• Advanced analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends and advise leadership.
• Professional qualification such as CA or CFA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across teams and geographies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software.
• Advanced use of spreadsheets and dashboards for reporting.
