About the role
Penn Contracting is seeking an experienced Groundworks and Masonry Operative to join our residential construction and refurbishment teams. The role involves delivering high‑quality structural groundworks, brick and blockwork, concrete works and steel installations while adhering to safety and programme requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out structural groundworks for new builds and refurbishment projects.
- Perform brickwork and blockwork to exacting standards.
- Execute concrete works, including foundations, slabs and repairs.
- Install structural steel components as part of the building fabric.
- Maintain site safety standards and ensure work is completed on schedule.
Required profile
- Proven experience in residential construction and refurbishment.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and a proactive team‑player mindset.
- Commitment to delivering projects efficiently, safely and to programme.
