Graphic Designer

About the role

Swaniti Initiative is looking for a Graphic Designer to create visually compelling communication materials that showcase its work in governance, public policy and climate action. The role focuses on designing high‑quality reports, publications and digital content while also supporting social‑media and event creatives, with occasional video‑editing tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and format reports, policy briefs, research publications, presentations and case studies, creating layouts, infographics, charts, icons and data visualisations.
• Maintain consistent branding, typography and formatting across all knowledge products.
• Collaborate with program and communications teams to translate technical content into engaging visual outputs.
• Produce social‑media creatives, digital campaign assets and event branding materials such as banners, standees, invitations and backdrops.
• Stay updated on design trends and generate fresh visual content that aligns with Swaniti’s visual identity.
• Edit short‑form videos, reels and event highlights for social media, and support basic motion graphics or simple animations when required.

Required profile

• Strong eye for layout design, typography, branding and visual storytelling.
• Ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging visual formats.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and meeting tight deadlines.
• Interest in governance, public policy and climate‑related communication.
