Gold Loan Audit Team Member

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Team Member to join the Gold Loan Audit function at our Jorhat office. The role involves conducting audits of gold loan portfolios to identify and mitigate credit, regulatory, financial and operational risks.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute gold loan audits across new and existing branches, products and channels.
• Provide independent assurance on risk management and internal controls in line with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Identify control gaps, recommend improvements and support remediation of identified risks.
• Prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Travel to branch locations as needed to perform on‑site collection and audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Prior experience in collection for mid‑market or corporate customers.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and high ethical standards.
• Effective communication and reporting abilities.
• Process‑oriented mindset with innovative thinking.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and understand complex deals.
• Willingness to travel for on‑ground collection and audit work.

Required skills

• Technical proficiency in Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Experience with fraud detection and monitoring systems.
