Golang Developer – Edge Platform

About the role

Join the market‑leading Edge platform team at NCR Voyix and help build high‑performance Go applications that power retail and hospitality solutions. You will work on complex development, testing and deployment tasks while collaborating closely with QA and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Take on complex development tasks within the Edge team.
• Refactor code based on peer reviews to maintain high quality.
• Debug, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues in production.
• Liaise with QA and internal stakeholders to ensure correct solutions and quality.
• Follow engineering standards set by leads and suggest process improvements.
• Participate in backlog grooming, design activities, and story definition.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong focus on clean code, agile methodologies, and SOLID principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive learning attitude and ability to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Go programming language (Golang) with experience in high‑performance applications.
• Understanding of Go concurrency model, goroutines, and channels.
• Multi‑threaded application development.
• Git version control.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Microservices architecture experience.
• Familiarity with Linux operating system.
