Global Product Marketing

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Global Product Marketing professional to define market requirements, drive product positioning, and support revenue growth across semiconductor segments. The role will be based in Bangalore, India and works closely with product, sales and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain Market Requirements Specifications, business plans, value propositions and product positioning.
• Lead market entry strategies, customer engagement plans and technology roadmap alignment for Memory, Foundry, Logic, Advanced Packaging and ICAPS.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and third‑party reports to shape go‑to‑market plans.
• Conduct TAM, SAM and SOM assessments and perform pricing analysis to maximize market penetration.
• Collaborate with product management, marketing, sales and engineering to ensure alignment of strategy and execution.
• Develop and monitor key business metrics such as adoption rates, revenue impact and market share.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in market analysis, product marketing or GTM strategy, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong understanding of TAM/SAM/SOM modeling, ROI analysis and pricing strategy.
• Ability to translate customer insights and industry trends into business cases and marketing collateral.
• Excellent analytical, communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with semiconductor segments such as Memory, Foundry, Logic, Packaging and ICAPS is a plus.
