Global Performance Senior Tableau Support Specialist

About the role

The Global Performance Senior Tableau Support Specialist will join Bureau Veritas in Mumbai to ensure the accuracy, reliability and usability of the Global Performance dashboards. The role combines data validation, advanced Tableau troubleshooting and continuous dashboard improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent cross‑checks of data behind Global Performance metrics, validating calculations, joins and keys.
• Provide specialist Tableau support for complex technical issues, including data relationships, modelling challenges and dashboard logic.
• Identify data discrepancies, investigate root causes and communicate findings to technical and business teams.
• Support the incorporation of technical enhancements driven by user feedback while maintaining alignment with existing architecture.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, sharing best practices and aligning Global Performance dashboards with other performance reporting streams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 12–16 years of experience in Tableau development and support, data modelling and validation.
• Proven track record building and supporting enterprise‑scale BI dashboards used by large user populations.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, joins, keys and performance optimisation.
• Experience providing independent assurance on dashboards developed by other teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Tableau expertise (Desktop, Server, Cloud).
• Data modelling skills (joins, blends, relationships, keys).
• Ability to read, validate and stress‑test complex dashboard logic.
• Experience working with multiple data sources and large datasets.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic capabilities for issue isolation.
• Documentation of findings and technical recommendations.
