Global People Operations Lead

About the role

Coram AI is looking for a People Operations Lead to own the full employee lifecycle and office administration for its India office. You will be the on‑ground point of contact for all people‑related matters, ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws while fostering a culture that reflects the company’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Own onboarding, documentation, performance support and off‑boarding for India‑based employees.
• Serve as the primary HR contact, handling day‑to‑day queries and employee‑relations issues.
• Partner with US HR leadership to align policies with Indian labor regulations.
• Manage performance review cycles, coaching, PIPs and exits.
• Maintain compliance with PF, ESI, professional tax, gratuity and related filings.
• Oversee office facilities, vendor relationships, budgets and expense tracking.
• Coordinate office logistics for events, team gatherings and visits from US colleagues.
• Support recruiting coordination, interview scheduling and offer processes for India roles.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years in a standalone HR or People Ops role, preferably with management responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or postgraduate HR diploma preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor and employment law (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment, gratuity, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience managing office administration and vendor operations.
• Proven ability to handle employee relations, performance management and end‑to‑end lifecycle processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and comfort working across US time zones.
