Global Accounting Analyst – Record to Report (R2R)

About the role

The Global Accounting Analyst (R2R) will independently manage controllership deliverables and month‑end close activities across Asia, Middle East and Africa affiliates. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong SOX compliance, and high‑quality GL and balance‑sheet reconciliations while partnering with BPO service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily controllership and financial close processes for AMA affiliates.
• Execute and monitor key SOX controls, ensuring documented compliance.
• Manage BPO partners, reviewing and assuring the quality of account reconciliations.
• Serve as SME for GL reconciliations and provide guidance to BPO teams.
• Handle revenue recognition, inventory, lease, sales, AR/AP, and banking accounting activities.
• Perform financial statement variance analysis and communicate findings to Regional Controllership.
• Review intercompany reconciliations, balance confirmations, and resolve differences promptly.
• Support preparation and review of SEC‑required reports in line with US GAAP.
• Collaborate with Affiliate Finance, Regional Controllership, Commercial Operations and other cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• B.Com./M.Com. graduate with CA, CPA or CMA qualification.
• 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and record‑to‑report processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP ERP closing and reporting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
