GIS Consultant (French)

About the role

WSP is looking for an enthusiastic and creative GIS Consultant who will support environmental and heritage projects across Canada. The role focuses on data management, cartographic production, and spatial analysis using the ArcGIS suite.

Key responsibilities

• Plot, edit, and analyze spatial data for contaminated land, ecological, archaeological and Indigenous relations projects using ArcGIS Pro and related tools.
• Prepare maps, figures, charts, and presentation materials for proposals and reports.
• Conduct 2D and 3D GIS analysis, manage databases, capture spatial data, georeference datasets, and integrate them into project themes.
• Convert GIS data between multiple file formats and maintain web‑GIS environments (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise).
• Collaborate with senior GIS staff, other WSP offices, project managers and clients, ensuring compliance with WSP Canada standards and provincial regulations.
• Perform quality reviews, identify service improvements, and provide regular status updates.

Required profile

• Practical experience with GIS and a strong interest in emerging GIS technologies.
• Ability to work under supervision of intermediate and senior GIS personnel.
• Professional communication skills and a commitment to health and safety.
