Geology/Geotech Expert

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Geology/Geotechnical Expert to support a major power and energy project in Hyderabad, Pakistan. The role involves conducting geological and geotechnical assessments, supporting design teams, and ensuring thorough ground evaluation to meet project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting geological and geotechnical investigations for the project.
• Review soil, rock, and subsurface conditions and provide technical input to the design team.
• Support site assessments, field investigations, and data collection activities.
• Monitor geotechnical risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and geotechnical guidelines.
• Prepare technical reports and document geological and geotechnical findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in geological and geotechnical assessments, preferably on power, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
