Geologist – Hydropower & Pumped Storage Projects

About the role

The Geologist will provide geological supervision and technical support for excavation, foundation preparation, underground works and reservoir construction on a pumped‑storage hydropower project. Working on‑site in Panaura, Uttar Pradesh, you will ensure safe, economical and technically sound execution in line with design and contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geological mapping and log excavation faces.
• Assess rock‑mass conditions and recommend appropriate foundation and slope treatment measures.
• Supervise grouting activities and review borehole logs.
• Identify geological risks and maintain comprehensive geological records.
• Coordinate geotechnical investigations with design and construction teams.
• Prepare and deliver geological reports supporting project decisions.

Required profile

• M.Sc or M.Tech in Geology.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in hydropower or pumped‑storage projects.
