General Physician – Full‑time, On‑site

About the role

NURA is seeking a full‑time General Physician to join its screening centre in Kozhikode (Calicut). The physician will lead clinical evaluations for individuals participating in AI‑enhanced health screening programmes, providing evidence‑based advice and coordinating care pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of screening participants.
• Interpret laboratory, diagnostic imaging and AI‑enabled imaging reports.
• Diagnose and manage primary‑care conditions identified during screening.
• Provide lifestyle counselling, develop follow‑up plans and arrange specialist referrals.
• Collaborate with nursing and technical teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Maintain accurate medical records and support clinical quality‑assurance activities.
• Participate in patient‑education and health‑awareness initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with valid medical council registration.
• Experience in family medicine, primary care or preventive health.
• Strong clinical skills in managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, screening‑focused environment.
• Willingness to train staff and share knowledge.
