General Medicine Physician – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated General Medicine Physician to join our team in Koppal, Karnataka. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical care to adult patients, managing both acute and chronic conditions, and ensuring high‑quality, evidence‑based treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and consultations for adult patients.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of general and internal medicine conditions.
• Take detailed histories, perform physical examinations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and conditions requiring ongoing monitoring.
• Identify patients needing specialist referral and coordinate care.
• Provide medication management, considering contraindications and drug interactions.
• Recognize clinical deterioration and initiate timely escalation of care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, medication adherence, and preventive health.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and diagnostic teams to ensure coordinated care.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + years of experience in General Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related clinical setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge of adult health conditions across cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, endocrine, renal, infectious, and metabolic systems.
• Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic diseases.
• Proficiency in interpreting laboratory and imaging results.
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical standards, and continuous improvement.
