General Maintenance Technician

About the role

The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing both planned and unplanned maintenance programmes across a wide range of hotel systems, ensuring operational efficiency, safety and guest comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on air‑conditioning, electrical, refrigeration, fire‑life‑safety (FLS) equipment, plumbing and drainage systems.
• Maintain building elements including furniture, fixtures, painting, and parts renewal.
• Service kitchen and laundry equipment, low‑voltage (LV) installations, and guest‑room and F&B outlet facilities.
• Communicate improvements and service disruptions to engineering management and team leaders.
• Apply safe work practices, preventive maintenance procedures and adhere to hotel policies.

Required profile

• Report for duty on time in a clean, complete uniform.
• Maintain high personal appearance and hygiene standards.
• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned.
• Comply with hotel fire, life‑safety and emergency procedures.
