General Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a General Maintenance Technician to support the Duty Engineer in daily operations, maintenance and repair of engineering plants, equipment and building services. The role ensures that all work meets quality standards and contributes to the smooth functioning of the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Duty Engineer with day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of engineering plants and equipment.
• Perform repair, maintenance and installation of electrical systems throughout the property.
• Handle and maintain all equipment according to company standards.
• Respond promptly to queries and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Ensure work quality complies with prescribed standards and company mission.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in building or industrial maintenance.
• Diploma or relevant degree in a technical field.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to enhance organisational performance and clearly delegate tasks.

Required skills

• Electrical system maintenance and installation.
• Knowledge of circuits, load assessment and limits.
• Equipment handling and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshooting of electrical faults.
