Funds Attorney (Remote, India)

About the role

This remote position is for an experienced Funds Attorney based in India. You will combine deep investment‑funds expertise with the development of AI‑powered legal solutions, evaluating AI‑generated outputs and improving legal reasoning models.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated legal outputs related to fund formation and transactions, providing detailed feedback.
• Perform simulated negotiations, contract reviews, and redlining of investment fund documents.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, scoring criteria, and quality standards for AI performance.
• Analyze complex fund documentation to identify risks, drafting issues, and negotiation points.
• Collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams to refine AI training data and legal guidelines.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Investment Funds practice group at a corporate law firm.
• Strong knowledge of fund documentation such as LPAs, Subscription Agreements, and Side Letters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
