Functional Steward – Walk‑In Interview – Bangalore

About the role

Infosys BPM Ltd. is seeking a Functional Steward to join its Data Governance team in Bangalore Phase‑2. The role focuses on managing hierarchies, master data, and governance processes to support business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain hierarchy and master‑data documentation, standards and policies.
• Define and publish data‑quality standards, KPIs and metrics for master‑data attributes.
• Evaluate new data sources for quality compliance and enrich the Business Data Glossary.
• Collaborate with project management and enterprise architecture to align hierarchy and reference‑data strategies.
• Design, develop and roll‑out governance workflow processes, including UAT coordination.
• Communicate changes to stakeholders and serve as the primary quality‑control analyst for master‑data entities.
• Develop data‑profiling queries, monitoring routines and audit reports to ensure data‑quality standards.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in data governance, master data management or related fields.
• Graduation degree (any discipline).
• Notice period of 0‑15 days.
• Willingness to work onsite in Bangalore Phase‑2.
