Functional Specialist – SAP FICO

About the role

We are looking for a Functional Specialist with deep expertise in SAP FI/CO to join our S/4 HANA projects. You will act as the SAP FI process expert, supporting tax coordination, migration activities, and end‑user training across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as SAP FI process expert for S/4 HANA implementations.
• Support the Tax Coordinator during requirement gathering and tax customizing.
• Prepare migration data, create tax codes, and execute GL account checks.
• Handle error logs, coordinate test cases, and provide 1st‑level support during INT and UAT.
• Deliver key‑user training, manage authorizations/roles, and document system landscape.
• Participate in process improvement activities (PIA) and mentor junior consultants.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an SAP FI/CO functional consultant on S/4 HANA projects.
• Strong knowledge of tax customization, data migration, and testing processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in multicultural environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and mentor peers.
