Full‑Time Cashier

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, on‑site Cashier to join our team at Candidata‑te Comigo in Maharashtra, India. The role involves processing customer purchases, handling cash, card and digital payments, and issuing accurate receipts. You will also keep the checkout area clean and support smooth store operations during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately using cash, card and digital payment methods.
• Issue receipts and maintain proper transaction records.
• Keep the checkout area tidy and organized.
• Reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
• Greet customers, answer basic product or service questions, and direct them to appropriate team members.
• Follow company policies, support loss‑prevention efforts, and collaborate with colleagues.

Required profile

• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate transaction handling.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new billing or POS tools.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities to manage queues and documentation.
• Reliability, integrity, and adherence to financial procedures and data privacy standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays.
• Minimum high school education; prior retail or hospitality experience is a plus.
