About the role

Citi is looking for a seasoned Fullstack UI Developer to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and accessible digital applications. The role blends deep expertise in Angular, React, and Node.js with a strong understanding of how frontend layers integrate with backend micro‑services.

Key responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of mid‑to‑large‑scale UI features, acting as technical lead on medium projects and supporting larger digital initiatives.
Translate complex UX wireframes into clean, reusable, high‑performance code while adhering to enterprise coding standards and design systems.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, rendering, memory‑leak, and API‑latency issues across the frontend and Node.js BFF layers.
Participate in technical design discussions, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate with vendors and UX teams to accelerate development velocity.

Required profile

5–8 years of professional experience delivering high‑quality web applications in an Agile environment.
Proven ability to mentor junior developers and communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience with secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10, OAuth2/OIDC/JWT) and compliance awareness.

Required skills

Angular (latest, RxJS, NgRx) and React (Hooks, Context API, Redux/Zustand).
Node.js backend‑for‑frontend frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify.
HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap.
Testing tools: Jest, Jasmine, React Testing Library, Cypress.
Build and CI/CD: Webpack, Vite, Rollup, npm/yarn/pnpm, Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, Git.
Micro‑frontend architectures, monorepo tools (Nx, Lerna), Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Web accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), OAuth2/OIDC/JWT, OWASP security standards.
