Fullstack Java With Angular - Software Engineer II

About the role

Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering team as a Software Engineer II, delivering end‑to‑end backend and frontend solutions for enterprise‑scale applications. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular to build secure, maintainable, and high‑performing systems while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Build and enhance Angular applications with TypeScript, RxJS, and integrate them with RESTful services.
• Perform testing, debugging, defect management, and production issue resolution throughout the software lifecycle.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and knowledge sharing within the Engineering as a Service team.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of hands‑on experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Angular (4+ years).
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented design, microservices, RESTful API design, and data persistence (SQL/NoSQL, JPA/Hibernate).
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Jasmine/Karma/Jest, and end‑to‑end tools like Playwright or Cypress.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work directly with clients and cross‑functional teams.
