Full‑Stack Engineer (Front‑End Focus) – Risk & Compliance

About the role

EY’s Risk and Compliance Engineering team is looking for a full‑stack engineer with a front‑end focus to design and deliver modern web applications for financial services clients. You will work on both client‑side interfaces using React.js or Angular and back‑end services, collaborating with global multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain front‑end applications with React.js (or Angular) and TypeScript.
• Integrate and consume REST APIs and GraphQL services for data exchange.
• Build and support back‑end components using Python or Node.js and related frameworks.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and other engineers to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies, performance and security best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑stack application development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Prior exposure to the financial services or risk domain (preferred).
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Interest in AI/GenAI concepts and prompt engineering.

Required skills

• React.js or Angular with TypeScript.
• HTML5, CSS3, ES6+ and component‑driven architecture.
• Python or Node.js; frameworks such as FastAPI, Django or ExpressJS.
• REST APIs and GraphQL.
• SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, CassandraDB).
• CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Version control with Git.
