Full-Time Machine Operator

About the role

APL is seeking a full‑time Machine Operator to support its growing landscape operations across the Officer and South East regions. You will operate heavy equipment on multiple sites, ensuring projects stay on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Operate excavators, skid steers, tip trucks and water trucks daily.
• Travel between sites as required and work both independently and within a team.
• Maintain and perform routine upkeep of all machinery.
• Report daily to the Machine Operator Manager and assist with ground labour when needed.
• Adhere to all occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a machine operator in the construction or landscape sector.
• Valid licences for operating heavy equipment.
• Reliable, punctual and capable of managing workloads responsibly.
• Willingness to travel within the designated region.
