Full-Time Faculty Position in Library & Information Studies

About the role

The Graduate Institute of Library, Information & Archival Studies at National Chengchi University seeks a full‑time faculty member to join its academic team. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and service in the fields of library and information science, archival studies, and related disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Teach core courses such as Library & Information Science, Information & Knowledge Organization, Archival Management & Applications, and Digital Humanities.
• Develop and update curricula to reflect current trends and research.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputable journals.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and community outreach activities.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree or equivalent in Library & Information Science, Archival Studies, History, Computer Science, Information Management, Publishing Science, Communication, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated academic excellence or strong potential for scholarly contributions.
• Ability to teach in Chinese is preferred.
