Full Stack Developer – Software Engineering Governance

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join its Software Engineering Governance (SEG) team in Bangalore. You will help translate business strategy into technical solutions, evaluate emerging technologies, and enable developers across the organization to deliver high‑quality software at speed.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend and frontend applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to turn business needs into robust technical designs.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle, including testing, documentation, and operation of internal libraries.
• Drive adoption of DevEx tooling, AI‑assisted coding, and Model Context Protocols.
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud best practices.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate or post‑graduate degree.
• At least 4 years of professional experience delivering scalable IT solutions.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
• Strong attention to detail, curiosity about emerging tech, and a passion for sharing knowledge.

Required skills

• Advanced Python development and related frameworks.
• TypeScript with strong experience in Node.js and React ecosystems.
• Relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• IDE proficiency: IntelliJ, PyCharm, VS Code.
• Scripting: Linux Shell, PowerShell.
• Containerization with Docker and modern CI/CD practices.
• Version control and DevOps tools: Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence.
• Cloud platform expertise, preferably AWS (certifications a plus).
• Experience with AI coding assistants, Model Context Protocols, and large language models.
