Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) – Digital Hub

About the role

Join BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad as a Full Stack Developer to build and evolve internal digital solutions. You will work in a global team, delivering end‑to‑end features on an open‑source, cloud‑based platform while embracing AI‑assisted engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of product features – from discovery, design, implementation to production support.
• Lead solution architecture, defining APIs, service boundaries and data models with a focus on scalability, maintainability and security.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and manage trade‑offs with stakeholders.
• Establish engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and implement automated testing and performance benchmarking.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools (e.g., LLM copilots) responsibly, ensuring data privacy and model governance.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, promote infrastructure‑as‑code and standardised environments.
• Ensure production readiness through observability, on‑call support, incident response and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Highly dynamic, motivated and collaborative professional.
• Strong experience in full‑stack development on open‑source and cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to design robust, secure architectures and drive modernisation of legacy components.
• Comfort with AI‑assisted engineering, CI/CD practices and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Willingness to take ownership of production support and continuous improvement.
