Full Stack Developer I

About the role

FedEx is seeking a Full Stack Developer I to join its technology team. In this role you will collaborate with solution architects and business advisors to design, build, and maintain scalable, high‑performing applications that support our global logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with advisors to break down epics into capabilities and define solution designs.
• Develop resilient micro‑services and front‑end components following best practices for performance, security, and code quality.
• Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce development standards.
• Manage competing priorities, communicate status updates, and escalate issues to executive leadership.
• Own demo content and acceptance criteria for software releases.
• Facilitate cross‑team communication, especially with onsite and offshore vendor groups.
• Serve as backup for the development lead and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in both front‑end and back‑end development, ranging from entry‑level to senior depending on the candidate.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Fluency in English.
