Frontend Developer (React/Next.js/React Native)

About the role

Speer is a fast‑growing AI company focused on life‑sciences solutions. We are looking for a senior frontend engineer who will own the user‑facing web and mobile applications, turning complex medical workflows into intuitive digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Speer’s web and mobile frontends using React, Next.js, and React Native.
• Create responsive, accessible, and performance‑optimized interfaces, including dashboards, data visualisations, and workflow‑driven screens.
• Integrate animations and interactive content with tools such as Lottie, Framer Motion, or GSAP.
• Implement and maintain authentication and authorization flows (SSO, OAuth 2.0, SAML, RBAC).
• Collaborate with backend, infrastructure, product, and founding teams to integrate APIs, real‑time data, and GraphQL services.
• Define frontend architecture, state‑management strategy, and UI engineering standards (component libraries, testing, design‑system patterns).
• Continuously improve usability, reliability, and overall product experience based on user feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with React and React Native.
• At least 2 years working in a product‑focused company.
• Comfortable using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Gemini) to accelerate delivery.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on UX, clarity, and solving real user problems.
• Ability to work autonomously, own features end‑to‑end, and thrive in a fast‑moving startup environment.
