Frontend Developer – ReactJS (7+ years)

About the role

IBM is seeking a seasoned Frontend Developer to join its core product development team. The role focuses on building modern, scalable, and user‑centric web applications using ReactJS and TypeScript. You will collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver high‑quality experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, performant, and accessible user interfaces with ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Translate product requirements and UX designs into reusable UI components and consistent design patterns.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and ensure efficient data flows.
• Optimize performance, cross‑browser compatibility, and accessibility compliance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of frontend architecture.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps to improve deployment reliability.
• Support modernization initiatives and adoption of emerging frontend technologies.

Required profile

• Master's degree (preferred).
• 7+ years of professional frontend development experience building production‑grade web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
