Frontend Developer

About the role

Shriram General Insurance is looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to create responsive, high‑performance web applications that deliver seamless digital experiences for customers. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams to turn designs into functional, user‑friendly interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, reusable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product owners to implement new features and enhancements.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues to ensure smooth performance.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is a plus.
