Frontend Developer

About the role

Unacademy is seeking a Frontend Developer (SDE II) with solid hands‑on experience in React.js to build clean, scalable user interfaces for millions of learners. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high‑impact features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high‑performance web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Translate UI/UX designs into reusable, efficient frontend components.
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and ship features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on frontend development experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
